By visiting our Site or purchasing something from us, you engage in our "Service" and agree to be bound by the following Terms. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

1. General Conditions & Health Disclaimer

  • For External Use Only: Our products, including topicals, balms, salves, soaps, and bath goods, are formulated for external use only unless explicitly labeled otherwise.

  • FDA & Health Disclaimer: Statements and descriptions on this Site have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition or disease.

  • Sensitivities & Patch Testing: Our goods are made with natural botanicals, plant extracts, clays, and fats. It is the customer's responsibility to review all ingredient listings prior to purchase. We strongly recommend performing a small patch test on your skin before full application. Discontinue use immediately if irritation occurs, and consult a medical professional if you are pregnant, nursing, or dealing with chronic health conditions.

2. Handcrafted Goods & Natural Variations

Because our goods are handcrafted in small batches using natural ingredients, minor variations in color, texture, shape, scent, or appearance may occur between batches. These natural variations are a normal part of small-batch production and do not constitute a product defect.

3. Orders, Pricing, and Payments

  • Right to Refuse Orders: We reserve the right to limit, refuse, or cancel any order placed with us (for example, in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock limitations).

  • Pricing Changes: Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. All prices are listed in USD.

  • Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all orders made at our store.

4. Shipping, Delivery, and Lost Packages

  • Shipping Carriers: Orders are shipped via USPS to the shipping address provided at checkout.

  • Address Errors: We are not responsible for packages shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the buyer.

  • Delivery & Carrier Delays: Once a package is handed over to the carrier, transit times and carrier delays are beyond our control. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages that have been confirmed as "Delivered" by carrier tracking.

5. Returns, Refunds, and Hygiene Policy

Due to strict health and hygiene standards for personal care products, our return policy is restricted:

  • Unopened Goods Only: Returns are accepted on unopened, completely unused items in their original, sealed packaging within 14 days of delivery.

  • Exclusions: Opened, tested, unsealed, or used products, including bath teas, opened jars, or unwrapped soaps, cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances.

  • Damaged Items: Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us within 3 days if an item arrives damaged or defective, providing clear photographs of the damage so we can resolve the issue.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site (including product names, descriptions, images, logos, graphics, brand copy, and designs) is the exclusive property of The Unmasked Apothecary LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
